Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. At this base you will be working on EC135's.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
• Upon installation or removal of any component or assembly, the Mechanic shall verify by physical inspection or markings on the part that the part number and serial number match the associated documentation
• Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters
• Actively participates in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and is familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures
• Maintains work area in a clean and professional manner
Responsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, Regional Maintenance Director, Director of Safety, or Lead Mechanic

• Responsible for validating or confirming the data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft he or she is working on including
• Request aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory of all stock items to ensure prompt repairs for operational readiness

Looking for a mechanic that has knowledge working on EC130's, EC135's, EC145's, but experience with other rotor aircraft.
Watkins is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Adams County, Colorado, United States. It is situated in the eastern part of the state, approximately 25 miles east of downtown Denver. Watkins is a small, rural community with a picturesque setting amidst the Colorado plains and Rocky Mountains.

• Serves as Lead Mechanic in the absence of the Lead Mechanic.
• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Job Summary
Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Methods’ policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals.

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
• Upon installation or removal of any component or assembly, the Mechanic shall verify by physical inspection or markings on the part that the part number and serial number match the associated documentation
• Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals to include specific chapters
• Actively participates in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and is familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures
• Maintains work area in a clean and professional manner
Responsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, Regional Maintenance Director, Director of Safety, or Lead Mechanic
• Responsible for advising the Pilot in Command (PIC) of any maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service
• Responsible for validating or confirming the data in the Status Report concerning the aircraft he or she is working on including
• Request aviation parts and supplies in order to maintain an adequate and orderly inventory of all stock items to ensure prompt repairs for operational readiness

Job Description
Install wires and electrical components into electrical modules and assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications. Perform electrical continuity checks, operational tests per engineering and manufacturer’s instructions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Mark wires, assemble lays-up, and terminate (crimp and solder) to engineering schematic specifications.
- Install wires and electrical components into electrical modules and assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Check drawings for accuracy and applicability for assigned tasks and advises lead and/or supervisor of deficiencies.
- Perform electrical continuity checks, operational tests, and acceptance test procedures per engineering and manufacturer’s instructions on harnesses and wired components.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical components and assemblies per manufacturer’s instructions, engineering schematics and accepted industry practices.
- Record work progress, certifications, completion and testing on various production documents per company standards and established procedures.

Compensation
The hourly range for the Electrical Assembly Tech 1 role is $20.50/hr - $25.10/hr.
The hourly range for the Electrical Assembly Tech 2 role is $23.75/hr - $29.10/hr.
The hourly range for the Electrical Assembly Tech 3 role is $27.50/hr - $34.50/hr.
